INTERNATIONAL POSTER COMPETITION
In the modern era, health is not only viewed from the perspective of bodily function but also from how aesthetics contribute to comfort and beauty. Function and aesthetics are two complementary aspects that create a harmonious symbiosis between physical, mental, and social health. With the theme "Form and Function in Health: A Symbiosis of Care and Aesthetics," this poster competition is expected to provide a platform to explore ideas, innovations, and new perspectives on the integration of function and aesthetics in healthcare services. The submitted works are also expected to serve as a medium for sharing information and education, as well as encouraging innovations that are rooted in interdisciplinary collaboration.
INTERNATIONAL LITERATURE REVIEW COMPETITION
International Literature Review Competition is a scientific writing competition based on credible data in the field of dentistry. This competition consists of three stages: abstract selection, full paper selection, and final presentation. To support the ongoing innovation and rapid development in dental science, this year’s International Literature Review Competition carries the theme: “Exploring Aesthetic Innovations in Dentistry: Evidence Behind the Art.” Through this competition, we aim to cultivate students’ critical thinking and research skills, while promoting academic growth and a healthy spirit of scientific competition.
INTERNATIONAL ESSAY COMPETITION
The International Essay Competition (IEC) is a global essay competition inviting students and young professionals to explore the theme "Beyond Function: Exploring the Role of Aesthetics in Modern Healthcare. " The competition aims to develop innovative ideas on the importance of balancing function and aesthetics in health, while encouraging the integration of medicine, art, and technology to enhance patients' quality of life.
NATIONAL DENTAL SCIENCE OLYMPIAD
National Dental Science Olympiad (NDSO) merupakan kompetisi kuis seputar ilmu biologi oral yang bertujuan untuk meningkatkan pengetahuan dan pola berpikir kritis mahasiswa kedokteran gigi di Indonesia. NDSO DSM FKG UI menjalin kerja sama dengan Ikatan Perhimpunan Biologi Oral Indonesia (PBOI) dalam pelaksanaan kompetisinya. WIRE BENDING
Wire Bending adalah salah satu mata acara kompetisi keterampilan dalam rangkaian kegiatan Dental Scientific Meeting (DSM) Fakultas Kedokteran Gigi Universitas Indonesia. Mengusung tema “Optimizing Aesthetics Through Wire Sculpting” , kompetisi ini dirancang untuk mengasah ketelitian, keterampilan tangan, serta pemahaman peserta terhadap prinsip estetika dan biomekanik dalam ortodonti.
